Seek medical advice if you develop symptoms, and have been in close contact with a person known to have COVID-19 or if you live in or have recently been in an area with ongoing spread of COVID-19.
Right now, what we know about the virus is that patients who are over the age of 70 and people that have chronic respiratory issues are at increased risk of critical illness. But we recommend that all patients take universal precautions. This includes washing hands frequently, minimizing contact with other people, and seeking medical attention with primary care or urgent care if you have cough, fever, or worsening shortness of breath.
